I can really relate to what you’re saying here Jane . I’ve learned over the years to nourish myself so that I can be the best I can be and able to help others eg eating nutritious food, being in nature, using aromatherapy oils, yoga and meditation but, at times, other “stuff” takes over and I forget about nurturing myself. It is always good to have that gentle reminder such as listening to your body, asking “how am i feeling right now?” Or reading something such as your blog. We need to build these things into our daily routines, it’s so important! Reading your blog today has inspired me to do what you suggest is taking my art things out etc etc ASAP xxxx
