Hi Jane I find the rhythm (movement) of tide ebbing and flowing to be very calming and grounding, the branches of trees swaying gently in the breeze symbolise flexibility/ going with the flow, the solid sturdiness of mountains represent stability and strength. But the current of rushing, gushing rivers that are high with rainfall and the powerful movement of strong winds to be stress inducing. I agree that if we pay attention to nature it provides us with many metaphors that “speak” to us in very powerful ways and guide us in how best to live our lives.
