Beautiful view and beautiful writing Jane. I love my meditation practices, they are a necessary and healing part of my life. When I don’t meditate for a while I become “off track”, disconnected. Disconnected from myself, nature, life, the universe. We need this peace and stillness, go allow Love and clarity. When we just focus on the breath, and view any fleeting thoughts with curiosity and openness, we can see them for what they are - just thoughts - and can then lovingly let them go and return to the breath.

Meditation and nature, and even more so when combined, result in greater emotional, mental, spiritual and physical health.
